Pranadda Yoovidhya, a Board Director of the TCP Group, has handed over a ‘Give Blood, Give Life’ mobile blood donor unit, fully equipped with medical equipment, worth a total of 14 million Baht (funded by her personal contribution) under the name of the Chaleo Yoovidhya Nusorn Fund to Khon Kaen Hospital. Organized on 30 January 2018 at the Kaen Muang conference room of Khon Kaen Town Hall; the hand-over ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Somsak Jungtrakoon, Khon Kaen Governor, and Khon Kaen Hospital’s management team.

The ‘Give Blood, Give Life’ mobile blood donor unit is equipped with 8 blood donation beds (the space is capable of accommodating up to 24 beds), specially designed to make blood donors feel more relaxed and at ease while donating their blood; as well as the adequate installation and supply of Thailand’s most state-of-the-art blood collection equipment for serving a large number of blood donors.

This hand-over is part of a series of projects inspired by Chaleo Yoovidhya’s philosophy: “We have to repay our homeland,” and TCP’s core value: “Caring”. The mobile blood donor unit will travel to collect blood from donors across Thailand’s northeastern region, in order to obtain an adequate blood supply for patients in need – under both normal and emergency situations. It will also provide a high standard of services for blood donors, to ensure their convenience and safety.
