Durbell Inspires Thai SMEs Through the “Big Brother” Project, Season 6
Durbell Company Limited, a company under TCP Group and one of Thailand’s leading consumer goods distributors with more than 19 years of experience, has joined the “Big Brother” Project, Season 6. Through this initiative, Durbell serves as a mentor, providing guidance and support to enhance the capabilities of Thai SME entrepreneurs and help drive sustainable growth of the Thai economy.
The Big Brother Project is a collaborative initiative between the Thai Chamber of Commerce and large private-sector organizations. It focuses on sharing experience and providing advisory support to strengthen SMEs across various dimensions through a “big brother, little brother” mentoring model, which is the project’s defining feature. The program pairs large organizations with SMEs that have similar business models, referring to the large organizations as “big brothers” and the SMEs as “little brothers” to foster close and practical collaboration.
Durbell Company Limited, under TCP Group, has continuously supported this project for five consecutive years since 2016. To date, the company has mentored more than 20 businesses by carefully selecting mentor teams with expertise in areas such as cost management, production efficiency improvement, data management system enhancement, and value creation for products and services. The success of the project lies in igniting inspiration and empowering Thai entrepreneurs to grow strongly in line with its intended objectives, while TCP Group plays a part in helping make the world a better place in accordance with its corporate purpose, “Energizing a Better World for All.”
