TCP Group supports Chaipattana Foundation with the delivery of negative pressure cabinet for collecting specimens from COVID-19 patients to 16 hospitals nationwide

TCP Group, led by Durbell Co., Ltd, one of Thailand’s leading consumer goods distributors, supported the Chaipattana Foundation with the delivery of23 negative pressure cabinets for collecting specimens from patients infected with COVID-19, and equipment developed by King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, to 16 hospitals across Thailand. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted the Chaipattana Foundation permission to allocate funds from the Chaipattana COVID-19 Aid Fund (and Other Pandemics) to buy these negative pressure cabinets in order to support medical and public health personnel in the battle against the spread of COVID-19.
The negative pressure cabinet and related equipment, used for collecting specimens from patients infected with COVID-19, is an innovative movable acrylic unit that is as efficient as a negative pressure room found in hospitals. It prevents the proliferation of germs while medical staff is collecting respiratory secretions from the throat and nasal cavities of patients infected with COVID-19, which in turn increases the safety and confidence of medical personnel.
