Honoring the Spirit of Noble Living and the Aspiration to Contribute
Established in 2017, the “Noble Youth” Journey and Awards is a prestigious recognition presented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation to honor outstanding young people - those with humane actions and gestures, with the spirit of mutual love, contributing to spreading humanistic values in society.
The award emerged amid the strong development of Vietnam’s youth movements, echoing the nationwide “Good People, Good Deeds” campaign and the implementation of the Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on “Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.” Beyond being an award, “Noble Youth” represents a symbol of the ideal of living beautifully, the aspiration to contribute and the spirit for the community of today's young generation of Vietnam.
Over the past eight years, the program has honored 192 outstanding young people from all over the country, in diverse fields—academics, scientific research, labor and production, national defense and security, environmental protection, culture and arts, sports, and social and charitable work.
Each year, the program continues to seek out and celebrate real stories - real people - shining as “humane highlights” that ignite faith and goodness in society.

20 Exemplary Youth – 20 Inspiring Stories of Courage, Compassion, and Dedication
The Selection Council identified 20 outstanding representatives symbolizing the Vietnamese youth’s perseverance, selflessness, and contribution to the community. Among them are courageous actions, extraordinary determination, and kind hearts that moved the public:
Among the 20 outstanding young faces awarded the “Noble Youth” Award this year, there are many touching stories, strongly spreading the spirit of humanity, courage and constant dedication of the young generation of Vietnam.
A typical example is the village chief Mua A Thi (Xa Dung commune, Dien Bien Province), who bravely sacrifices himself for the community. Upon detecting signs of an imminent flash flood and landslide in Hang Pu Xi Village, he promptly raised the alarm and helped evacuate 21 households (around 90 residents) to a safe place, preventing casualties. His courage exemplifies the noble heart and responsibility of Vietnam’s highland youth leaders.
The story of Vu Tien Manh, an athlete from the Vietnam Paralympic Athletics Team, is another shining example of resilience. Born with congenital nystagmus that left him blind, Manh has tirelessly pushed beyond his limits to represent Vietnam at international sporting events. His achievements have become a powerful inspiration for people with disabilities and young people nationwide.
In the field of culture and arts, singer Hoa Minzy stands as a role model of an artist living beautifully—dedicated to community service and spreading kindness. During 10-year career, she has not only touched hearts through her music but also through acts of compassion. When the Central region encountered historic floods in 2020, she donated 100 million VND and went directly to the flooded areas to support people. In 2021, with her fan club, she started the construction of the first "An Hoa" bridge for people in remote areas, opening a new road to school and to the market. To date, that journey has extended to the An Hoa 2 and An Hoa 3 bridges in Son La and Yen Bai, with more than 1 billion VND donated to help people affected by storm Yagi. In 2025, she became the first Vietnamese female artist to reach #1 Global Trending on YouTube with the folk-inspired song “Bac Bling”, marking a proud milestone for Vietnamese music globally.
Another representative is Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Miss Intercontinental 2022, currently the Executive Director of Miss World Vietnam 2025. Not only shining in the international beauty arena, Bao Ngoc is also a role model of young people rich in knowledge, enthusiasm and spirit of living beautifully. She is the founder of the Gen Zero Program - Youth for Sustainable Development, and is also the coordinator of the 2024 Local Climate Conference of Youth (LCOY Vietnam) which brings together more than 500 young delegates to discuss solutions to respond to climate change. Representing Vietnamese youth, Bao Ngoc has been present at prestigious international forums such as COP29, Asia Future Forum (AFF 2025) and P4G. At the same time, she actively participates in charity activities with the Suoi Mat Tu Tam Club, supporting children and the disadvantaged, and participating in environmental campaigns such as Clean Up Vietnam, Earth Hour and planting forests at Xuan Lien Nature Reserve.
Another remarkable honoree is Police Sergeant Giang A Thang (Dien Bien Province), who, despite battling end-stage kidney disease, founded and runs the “Bundles of Loving Chopsticks" model, creating employment for impoverished dialysis patients. Each month, the model consumes 6,000 - 7,000 pairs of bamboo chopsticks, bringing in revenue of about 15 - 16 million VND, helping each patient have an additional 500,000 - 600,000 VND to cover living expenses and treatment. Not stopping there, Mr. Thang also mobilized the community to regularly donate 50 gifts/month, calling for tens of millions of VND to support surgery, treatment, and burial for disadvantaged patients. His story is a living testament to the spirit of "living beautifully" - knowing how to share, give love and light up hope for disadvantaged lives.
20 stories – 20 hearts – are 20 flames of the spirit of “living beautifully” in the new era, contributing to affirming the sustainable humanistic values of Vietnamese youth: living with aspirations, living responsibly, living for the community.

Honoring and Continuing the Journey of Noble Living
At the Gala, each honoree received a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, a symbolic trophy, and a VND 10 million award presented by TCP Vietnam.
Alongside the award ceremony, the organizing committee continues to carry out the “Noble Youth” Journey - a series of meaningful activities held in many localities across the country. Each destination is a story spreading the spirit of humanity, the desire to contribute and the positive energy of Vietnamese youth.
This year's journey is carried out with many rich themes, reflecting beautiful living values in all areas of social life: from the spirit of volunteerism and sharing through social security activities, to efforts to spread culture - art, physical training - sports; from the will to protect the country, maintain security, to the spirit of labor, creativity, economic development; and especially practical actions in teaching, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.
More than a recognition, the journey of “Noble Youth” is a heartfelt call to Vietnamese youth to nurture humanistic values and unite in building a compassionate, strong, and sustainable Vietnam.
