TCP Vietnam Completes 15 Youth Sports Spaces Nationwide Continuing the Journey of Active Living with Vietnamese Youth
After two years of dedicated collaboration with local communities, TCP Vietnam has officially completed 15 Youth Sports Spaces nationwide under the project “Community Sport Yard - Energizing Vietnamese Youth”. This milestone not only reflects the collective efforts behind their construction, but also marks a sustained journey to foster a healthy, active, and resilient lifestyle among Vietnam’s young generation.
Launched in 2024 in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation and the National Volunteer Center (VVC), the project aims to develop 20 modern, safe, and accessible physical training spaces across multiple localities nationwide during the 2024–2026 period.
In the first year of implementation, 09 facilities were established across Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Bac Giang, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Bac Ninh, and Binh Duong. Each facility represents a clear commitment to delivering modern, well-equipped, and accessible recreational spaces for young people.
Building on this momentum, 2025 saw the completion of 06 additional facilities in Tuyen Quang, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, and An Giang, with a combined area of nearly 7,000 square meters. Designed to accommodate a wide range of activities from football, volleyball, and pickleball courts to outdoor fitness zones, these spaces cater to the diverse training needs of both youth and local residents, while serving as healthy gathering points that foster community engagement.
To date, the program has provided access to sports and physical training facilities for more than 30,000 young people and local residents nationwide, contributing to positive shifts in exercise habits and the promotion of a healthy, active lifestyle within communities.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Vietnam Youth Federation, shared: “In many localities, particularly in remote and underserved areas, public sports facilities remain insufficient to meet actual needs. TCP Vietnam’s partnership in implementing the project “Community Sport Yard - Energizing Vietnamese Youth” has helped turn the aspiration for safe, modern, and accessible training spaces for children, young people, and local residents into reality, integrating sports into the daily lives of communities. The project also stands as a testament to the effectiveness of public-private partnership models in community initiatives, while reflecting the company’s strong sense of social responsibility toward the development of the younger generation.”
From a youth perspective, project ambassador Nguyen Tien Linh - Vietnam National Team player, Ballon d’Or winner, and Noble Youth of 2024 expressed his pride in accompanying the project throughout its two-year implementation: “Well-planned and modern sports facilities always provide positive motivation for communities. I believe that when proper infrastructure is in place, grassroots sports movements will grow more strongly, helping people develop daily exercise habits and a healthier lifestyle.”
This spirit has been consistently reaffirmed by TCP Vietnam throughout its journey alongside young people. Emphasizing the company’s long-term commitment, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy, Country Director of TCP Vietnam, stated: “We believe that sports not only enhance physical well-being but also serve as a foundation for cultivating resilience, determination, and perseverance among Vietnamese youth. The past two years mark only the beginning of this journey. TCP Vietnam will continue to stand alongside young people through meaningful initiatives, contributing to the development of a generation that is strong in spirit, resilient in body, and ready to shape the future of the nation.”
In 2026, TCP Vietnam will continue its collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation and the National Volunteer Center (VVC) to renovate and bring into operation 05 additional sports spaces across various localities. The completion of all 20 sports spaces during the 2024–2026 period represents a significant milestone, reflecting TCP Vietnam’s sustained commitment, long-term vision, and sustainable development strategy gradually connecting youth, spreading positive energy, and inspiring a culture of physical activity within communities.
In parallel, the company remains committed to expanding community-oriented initiatives in the time ahead, with a particular focus on programs that support the physical and mental well-being of Vietnamese youth - who are, and will continue to be, a vital driving force behind the nation’s development.
