TCP Group donates five ambulances to Fuwai Central China Cardiovascular Hospital

Five ambulances donated by TCP Group through the China Siyuan Project Poverty Alleviation Foundation ("Siyuan Project") were recently delivered to Zhengzhou Fuwai Central China Cardiovascular Hospital ("Fuwai Central Hospital") to support ongoing reconstruction efforts in Henan Province after the floods.

Fuwai Central Hospital was severely affected by the extreme rainfall that hit many parts of Henan province. On July 22^nd, the hospital staged an unprecedented evacuation while water, electricity and telecom services were interrupted. With the support of the party, government, military and many others, more than 5,000 patients, their families and medical staff were successfully transported to nearby hospitals within eight and a half hours.

After the waters receded, Fuwai Central Hospital’s original ambulances could not be used anymore due to damage from the flooding and other reasons. The ambulances were part of the equipment needed by the hospital to cope with the disaster. TCP Group immediately responded to the situation by donating five ambulances to Fuwai Central Hospital through the Siyuan Project, which have now been successfully delivered to the hospital.

Before that, 2,000 cartons of Red Bull products (including 1,000 cartons of Red Bull^® Vitamin Flavor Drink and 1,000 cartons of Red Bull^® An Nai Ji Drink) donated by TCP Group were also successfully delivered to the disaster-stricken areas in Henan Province through the Siyuan Project.

The five ambulances donated by TCP Group to Fuwai Central Hospital have now been put into use to help support the post-disaster reconstruction efforts and play an active role in the hospital’s resumption of work and medical treatment. It is reported that Fu Wai Central Hospital intends to resume work and medical treatment on August 2^nd.
