TCP Group Poses at WCIF, share New Opportunities in the Development of Western China in the New Era

The 19th Western China International Fair (WCIF) grandly commenced in Chengdu. WCIF has become an important platform for the opening-up of Western China against the backdrop of accelerating the implementation of the Western Development Strategy. Adhering to the principle of "co-hosting, sharing, and mutual benefits", WCIF 2023 offers a platform for people to seek international economic and trade cooperation. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Thailand, an important country along the Belt and Road, is chosen as the Guest Country of Honor of WCIF 2023. As the representative of Thai enterprises that invest in China, TCP Group brought a diversified product portfolio from its "House of Great Brands" to the Belt and Road International Cooperation Pavilion of WCIF.

Gathering at WCIF to share opportunities, TCP Group adds vitality to China-Thailand economic and trade exchanges

During the WCIF, TCP Group showcased a diversified product portfolio, including the classic gold-can Red Bull products exclusively launched in the Chinese market—Red Bull® Vitamin Flavor Drink and Red Bull® Vitamin Taurine Drink, and "zero-sugar fruit-flavored Red Bull® Vitamin Energy Drink" newly released in 2022. In addition, the group also presented Ready, one of Thailand’s best-selling premium energy drinks, Sponsor, an electrolyte drink that tops the sales ranking in Thailand, Mansome, a best-selling functional beverage, and Sunsnack, a delicious sunflower kernel snack. China has always been the forefront and center for TCP Group's global "House of Great Brands" strategy. By virtue of WCIF, TCP Group hopes to further deepen and expand its business in China and bring more novel products to Chinese consumers through continuous innovation and localization strategies.

 

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Red Bull's entry into the Chinese market. The appearance at WCIF 2023 manifests TCP Group's keen yearning for common development with Western China. "In China, For China" is the consistent tenet of TCP Group. The company's booth is themed the "30th anniversary", conveying its optimistic attitude towards and strong confidence in the Chinese market.

Backed by major national strategies like New Western Development and Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, WCIF not only deepens the cooperation and exchanges between Western China and foreign enterprises like TCP Group, but also shows TCP Group the great potential of Western China. In addition, WCIF, one of the key exhibitions under the Belt and Road framework, conduces to exchanges and cooperation among countries along the Belt and Road. Tying a knot with Sichuan, the investment of TCP Group infuses "Red Bull Spirit" into the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle

TCP Group, as the inventor and owner of the global Red Bull brand and the “Red Bull” trademark, has always been very optimistic about the development potential of Western China, with Sichuan being one of the group's strategic markets. The TCP Red Bull Beverage (Sichuan) Production Base Project is the second factory in China directly invested by the Group. Located in Neijiang, Sichuan Province, it will be put into operation by the end of this year. The project is planned to cover a total land area of about 400 mu and consume a total investment of RMB 2 billion. Five new Red Bull beverage production lines and auxiliary can production lines will be built, with a designed annual output capacity of 1.44 billion cans. The new factory will mainly supply products to the Western China market. Relying on the favorable development environment of Neijiang, TCP Group, with practical actions, is empowering Neijiang in the construction of the "Sweet +" industrial cluster. As one of the representative enterprises of Neijiang's "Sweet +" industrial cluster, TCP Group was also invited to display its Red Bull products at the booth of Neijiang. As the Red Bull brand becomes more and more influential, TCP Group will continue to make its share of contribution to Neijiang's development into the "Capital of Sweets in China".
