TCP Group introduces two innovations, "Palungtun" and "Khlong Term Palungkai Palungjai," harnessing its F&B leadership to address global environmental changes and highlight actions for a sustainable future

TCP Group continues energizing a better world for all by leveraging its expertise in food and beverages to create innovations that help people cope with the impacts of climate change on their way of life. The company is introducing “Palungtun” (power from grains), an innovative instant cereal beverage mixed with fruits and vegetables, and enriched with high protein and fiber. Additionally, the company is unveiling “Khlong Term Palungkai Palungjai” (energizing wellness box), made from recycled materials derived from manufacturing processes, aligning with the circular economy concept. This box features a strap for convenient on-the-go use and includes a waterproof bag as well as essential medications.

This packaging is made from recycled plastic, and is suitable for storing essential items, providing rapid assistance during disaster, and simultaneously energizing physical and mental well-being for everyone."

“Palungtun” is designed and produced by the "Food Innovation” team at TCP Group, leveraging its expertise as a leader in the food and beverage industry. This innovation is an instant cereal beverage that includes fruits and vegetables, with high levels of protein and fiber from natural ingredients. It contains no added colors, artificial flavors, or preservatives, providing a quick and easy choice with 190 kilocalories of energy. Palungtun comes with “Khlong Term Palungkai Palungjai,” a collaborative effort leveraging the circular economy concept with SCGC, a leader in comprehensive chemical innovations for sustainability. This innovative eco-friendly box is made from high quality post-consumer recycled resin or PCR resin, utilizing recycled plastic materials from manufacturing processes providing added value by offering a range of applications, such as packaging boxes, medical supplies bags, and water-resistant shoe cover.

Khlong Term Palungkai Palungjai includes the following energizing items.

1. The box and strap come equipped with a secure lid and cross-body strap which can be hung from a high surface. Made from PCR materials recycled from PP plastic straps weighing up to 80 tons annually, Khlong Term Palungkai Palungjai is durable and can be repurposed for a variety of uses, for example, as a storage solution for house keys or a food container.
2. "Palungtun" is an innovative instant cereal beverage packed with protein and fiber from a mix of natural ingredients, including organic jasmine rice, oats, soybeans, Job’s tears, strawberries, apples, bananas, corn, avocados, Chinese spinach, and chicory heads, which are rich in fiber, promote satiety, and serve as a beneficial source of probiotics for the body. Simply mix it with warm water and give it a good stir. Each sachet provides 190 kilocalories of energy.
3. The medical supplies bag is packaged in a water-resistant and reusable plastic pouch. This comprehensive kit includes essential items such as paracetamol, antihistamines, a salol and menthol mixture, antifungal cream, insect repellent lotion, povidone-iodine, and alcohol. Additionally, it contains medical supplies like bandages, cotton swabs, and adhesive plasters.
4. The water-resistant shoe cover, made from the PE type of PCR plastic, include a convenient ankle strap designed to minimize the risk of coming into contact with foreign objects while walking in water, reducing the risk of infection or injury.
