13 December 2023

Red Bull has inaugurated a greenfield production facility in Amarapuri, Nepal. The factory employs German and Swiss technology, an automated production line, best-in-class environmental and safety standards, and generates more than half of its electricity requirements from renewable sources.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Finance Minister of Nepal, Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, and attended by the CEO of TCP Group, Mr. Saravoot Yoovidhya, along with many other dignitaries.

The Amarapuri factory will initially produce 250ml Red Bull Gold cans for domestic sales. This event marks a significant milestone in the brand’s journey, showcasing its commitment to local production, empowerment, and environmental sustainability. The presence of Finance Minister Dr. Mahat and diplomats from various countries at the factory site underscores the strategic importance of this venture.

Nepal is only the fourth country in the world to produce the iconic Red Bull Gold can.

Saras Beverages, a part of the Khetan Group, creates an ideal platform for further expansion of the product portfolio and the relationship between the two groups.
