TCP Group and ‘Red Bull’ Embark on the First Desert Run at the 14th Red Bull Desert Adventure, Celebrating 50 Years of Sino-Thai Relations

TCP Group, the manufacturer and distributor of Kratingdaeng (Red Bull), Ready, Som Plus, Sponsor, Mansome, Hi!, Puriku, Sunsnack, and Warrior, marks a major milestone in China by officially naming Red Bull as the main sponsor of the ‘14th Red Bull Desert Adventure’, one of the world’s most challenging desert runs. TCP Group also brought Thai representatives to take on the challenge at the Tengger Desert in Inner Mongolia, China, joining 4,000 runners to test their strength and endurance from May 2–4, 2025. This marks Red Bull’s continued commitment to pushing limits while also celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sino-Thai diplomatic relations.

The 14th Red Bull Desert Adventure is an extreme desert race that draws MBA and EMBA students from over 110 top institutions to push their limits across three distances: 33 kilometers, 70 kilometers, and 99 kilometers. This year marks the first time Red Bull joins as the official main sponsor, creating a unique experience to support every competitor’s determination and perseverance — a perfect reflection of the Red Bull brand DNA, which inspires people to break through both physical and mental limits. Additionally, TCP Group also sent the Thai representative team of runners to join the 33-kilometer race, bringing back real stories from the desert to inspire people in Thailand, with Red Bull serving as a powerful companion every step of the way toward new boundaries.

Mr. Saravoot Yoovidhya, Chief Executive Officer, TCP Group, stated “On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Sino-Thai diplomatic relations this year, TCP Group is proud to support the 14th Red Bull Desert Adventure — a true testament to the deep and enduring friendship between the Thai and Chinese people. This reaffirms TCP Group’s ongoing role in advancing strategic Sino-Thai collaboration, driven by innovation, a commitment to excellence, and diverse initiatives that fulfill everyone to live life to the fullest and break through every limit together.”

TCP Group has been operating continuously in China since 1993, beginning with the establishment of its first Red Bull manufacturing facility in Hainan and launching the Red Bull brand under its Chinese name “Hong Niu.” The company has since expanded its investments by over 16.5 billion baht in Sichuan and Guangxi provinces to strengthen production capabilities in these strategic trade regions. Today, Red Bull is one of the fastest-growing energy drink brands in China, offering a diverse product range with flavors that resonate with local consumers — including Red Bull® Vitamin Flavor Drink, Red Bull® Vitamin Taurine Drink, and Red Bull® Vitamin Energy Drink, a sugar-free fruit-flavored energy drink marketed under the concept “0 Sugar and No Burden,” as well as Red Bull® (Extra) Energy Drink, the first PET-bottled energy drink designed for the modern generation, supported by lifestyle-driven marketing activities and a deep understanding of Chinese consumer behaviors.

The race concluded with great success, with one male and one female winner earning the right to participate in the Amazing Thailand Marathon 2025, complete with a travel package including accommodation and airfare sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. This marks the next challenge awaiting them in Thailand, as part of the celebration of 50 years of Sino-Thai relations — reflecting the enduring friendship between the two nations and their shared commitment to energizing a better world together.
