Beyond borders, united in friendship - TCP Group energizes the “Thai-Chinese Friendship Caravan” as it embarks on its remarkable journey
Amid the festive celebrations of the “Golden Jubilee of China–Thailand Friendship,” the flag-off ceremony for the “Thai–Chinese Friendship Caravan,” organized by the Thai–Chinese Friendship Association, was grandly held at Bangkok City Hall (Lan Khon Muang), near Sanam Luang in Bangkok. The event was attended by prominent political and business figures from both countries, including Mr. Wu Zhiwu, Minister at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand; Mr. Korn Dabbaransi, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and President of the Thai–Chinese Friendship Association; Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Mr. Supachai Junkeiat, CCO of TCP Group and CEO of TCP China, along with numerous other distinguished guests and representatives from various sectors. Together, they witnessed this significant moment in China–Thailand people-to-people exchanges. As a leading enterprise deeply involved in the China–Thailand market and actively promoting mutual understanding between the two nations, TCP Group fully sponsored the Friendship Caravan, ensuring its smooth departure. Through this concrete support, the Group reinforces the spirit of “China and Thailand are as close as one family” while injecting Red Bull energy into the enduring friendship between the two countries.

As a landmark event marking the 50th anniversary of China–Thailand diplomatic relations, the Friendship Caravan will embark on a 5,000-kilometer transnational journey. Starting from Bangkok, it enters China through Phitsanulok Province and the China-Laos border port of Mohan–Boten, passing through Xishuangbanna, Kunming, Guiyang, Zhangjiajie, Xi 'an and Pingyao, and finally arrives in Beijing. The entire journey takes 16 days. Supported by a “Sponsorship Alliance” of leading China–Thailand enterprises, including TCP Group and BYD, at about 8:15 AM, the friendship caravan slowly passed through the arched balloon door one by one. On-site staff presented commemorative gifts to the participants, and tourists in the vehicle waved the Chinese and Thai flags. The atmosphere was very lively. The convoy then passed by Bangkok's landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Chinatown, and took group photos along the way, leaving a vivid imprint on cross-border people-to-people exchanges throughout its journey.

Mr. Wu Zhiwu said in his speech that from the banks of the Chao Phraya River to the foot of the Great Wall, this is not only a cross-border friendship journey, but also a road that connects the hearts of the people of China and Thailand, carrying the common aspirations of the people of both sides and symbolizing the steady and far-reaching friendship between China and Thailand. May the convoy spread friendship all the way, and may the friendship between China and Thailand last forever.
Mr. Saravoot Yoovidhya, CEO of TCP Group, stated: “China–Thailand friendship is both long-standing and ever-renewing. As a company founded in Thailand and deeply rooted in China, TCP Group has consistently aligned its development with the broader framework of bilateral cooperation, promoting people-to-people exchanges through tangible actions.
